Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting a 58-year-old woman who said to me, “I did a stint at the Omega Institute back in 2010 and that’s when I started the journey of Intentional Living.”

Intentional Living….how perfect of a way to so accurately describe how I have lived my life the past 21 years. I personally started this journey back in 1996, when I bought a book titled, The Empowered Mind by Gini Graham Scott. Ilearned 21 years ago, how to consciously create the life I wanted and consciously design my future. Even back then, my core values were at the heart of doing something career wise that would help people and make them happy. I ran across that book 2 years ago; when I opened the book, there within some of the pages were pieces of paper that I had written on about what I wanted to do with my life and what skills and attributes I felt I possessed that would enable me to accomplish said, life goals. No matter where you are in life or how old or young you are, it’s never too early or too late to start consciously creating the life you want to live and consciously designing your future. I started in my 20’s and the woman I met yesterday started in her 50’s; there is no perfect time table.

It is so incredibly empowering when you realize that you are the one in the driver seat of your life. When you live life with intention, it is amazing the coincidences you encounter which aren’t coincidences at all but manifestations of your creation. The world just seems to open-up for you and all kinds of synchronistical events seem to miraculously appear at that exact moment you need them. Meeting this lady was no accident!
